Indian team for Australian tour is to be picked on Dec 19,2015. The Men in Blue will be playing 5 ODIs and 3 T20s in a short 3 week tour to down under starting Jan 12,2016.

BCCI has scheduled the Indian domestic limited overs tournament ,Vijay hazare trophy in December .So,that the players have good match practice before the Aussie tour.And the performances of players in this tournament will have the say in the selection process.
Jadeja ,Vijay, Ishant and Shami to make the cut
After a great comeback in the tests against the Proteas , Ravindra Jadeja will come back into the ODI squad. He had a decent run of form with both bat and ball in the Vijay Hazare Trophy.

Mohammed Shami has recovered from the knee injury that he sustained during the World Cup this year.And will add the fire power to the bowling department. Ishant Sharma will get seat as well owing to his performances against Sri lanka and Proteas.
Kedhar Jadav is the highest run getter in the Vijay Hazare Trophy and he might be a surprise selection too ,keeping in mind that is he is a specialist keeper and can be a backup for MSD
Murali Vijay setting for a new role ,middle order batsman ?
Having been India's most reliable batsman in the tests over the past 2 years, Murali Vijay is eyeing for a place in the ODI squad. He came close to get the nod for the World cup squad but was not selected as Binny had the edge as an all-rounder.
This time around Vijay is all set to make the comeback. He had a decent Zimbabwe series .Vijay has been instrumental in Tamil Nadu's prolific performance in the league stage of Vijay Hazare trophy. And what raised eyebrows is that Vijay played in the middle order for TN.At 3,4,5 , he scored a string of good knocks 25,55,35,44 and 74 .
He played a slow match saving knock of 44 runs against Hyderabad and played a brutal knock of 74 off 44 balls against Rajasthan. Rayudu and Raina are not having good run lately. And Vijay might be selected as a back up opener or middle order batsman . Adding to this , the selectors might have him as a floater.
Will Yuvraj make a comeback too ?
This is the question that is going around the internet throughout the week. Yuvi has been prolific this season.Even in the Ranji trophy , he scored runs fluently but his performances in the Vijay Hazare trophy gained the attraction .
His scores in the tournament reads 93, 36, 36, 78* and 98*. And that too at a good strike rate . The Indian fans are hoping for his comeback and this might be the right time to crack , just a series before the ICC world T20 2016 .
